REVIEW: L'oreal Color Riche Collection Privee + Swatches
I have finally had the time to make another review on my favourite makeup item of the month, this month it's all about the Lippy! I have been loving all the L'Oreal collection Privee lipsticks, I wanted to tell you more about them Andy my own opinions before you went and bought them if you are having any problems choosing :)
As you know the L’Oreal Collection Privee is a selection of high end looking L’Oreal Colour Riche Lipsticks there’s also a Privee Nail Polish Collection available that come in a matte black packaging with gold accents. Each shade is inspired by the skin tone of a L’Oreal model or brand ambassador. The shades a range of non traditional nudes for creating a natural lip look for every skin tone.
The celebrities included in the collection are Eva Longoria, Freida Pinto, Jennifer Lopez, Julianne Moore, Doutzen Kroes, and Liya Kebede. This collection actually was bought out earlier in the UK. Unfortunately it is a limited edition launch so if you love these shades you’ll have to be sure to pick them up as soon as see them as they will likely disappear fast.I love what L’Oreal did with this collection! It’s a selection of non traditional nudes that aren’t beige based. You have colors here that are more about embracing the my lips but better philosophy versus settling on a traditional lip look.
L’Oreal outdid themselves at creating gorgeous packaging for the lipsticks. Each lipstick has the signature of the celebrity that inspired the shade and comes in matte black casing.
These lipsticks retail at £6.99 at my local drugstore (boots), this would convert to around 10 dollars. These lipsticks I think are well worth the money as you can get use out of them day or night. They are suitable for for people new to lipstck aswell, who may not be as confident to try bold colours just yet. As far as drugstore lipstck goes, with the selection of colours I would give these lipsticks a 9/10.
Thankyou for reading my loves, come back soon for more reviews and first impressions. If there's anything you would like me to review/swatch I would happy too, just leave it in the comments below.
Be you,
Taylor xo
